Choose what the leg does at the ankle
Sweatpants look simple until you put them next to the shoes they will be worn with. Start with the leg and how it finishes at the ankle, then settle the waist, pockets and fabric on a sample.
From 100 pieces per style and colour. Fabric, finish and construction may affect minimums.

Compare the leg
Four legs from the same waist
The waist can stay the same while the leg changes the whole garment. Send a reference for whichever is closest.
Cuffed
Tapers to a rib cuff. The ankle stays visible and the hem holds its place.
Watch for: Cuff depth and grip change how the leg stacks.
Start a brief with thisStraight
Falls from hip to hem with an open, hemmed finish.
Watch for: Nothing holds the length at the ankle, so agree the inseam with the shoe in mind.
Start a brief with thisWide
Generous from the hip down, with an open hem that sits over the shoe.
Watch for: Fabric weight decides whether the width hangs or collapses. Judge it on a sample.
Start a brief with thisCargo
A straight leg with pockets on the thigh, in the same fabric as the body.
Watch for: Full pockets pull a knit fabric down. Agree the pocket size and position.
Start a brief with thisDirections to compare, drawn in proportion. We confirm what is feasible for your project.
What to send, what we check

What is the difference between sweatpants and joggers here?
Use this page for sweatpants ordered on their own. If they belong with a matching top, start from tracksuits and joggers so we can count the set correctly.
Can you match the sweatpants to a hoodie we already make?
Send the hoodie or its fabric details. Colour is approved on physical swatches, because different fabrics can look different at the same colour target.
How is a sample approved?
We record feedback on fit, measurements, fabric, colour, artwork and construction, agree any revisions, and you approve the final specification before bulk.
Knit fabric moves more than you expect.
A leg that measures right flat can still bag at the knee or drop at the seat once worn. Try the sample on, sit down in it, and judge it after wear rather than on the table.
